In this episode I interview Dr. Alex Hill DPT about the role of physiotherapy in oncology, specifically for breast cancer survivors. We talk about common problems after breast cancer such as lymph-edema and cording (also known as auxiliary web syndrome), how physical therapy can help and what to look out for. We also talk about pelvic health consequences due to hormonal therapies and what physiotherapists should look out for and ask about when working with breast cancer survivors.
